Over the years at MIT CSAIL, the Humanoid Robotics Group has developed a variety of behavior and control architectures for humanoid robots. What lessons can be learned from these experiences? What will the next generation architectures look like? How can we design for scalability, robustness, and performance? In this talk we consider these questions and present architecture design studies of some of the MIT humanoids.
